Vibrant Spain

Our last European destination for this holiday trip was Barcelona.  There were not many butterflies in the city, and while walking back to the hotel, I spotted a Common Geranium-Bronze (Cacyreus marshalli).

It was an impromptu decision to go on a cable ride that I saw many of the Papilio machaon and Iberian Scarce Swallowtail flying around the cable car hilltop station.
